Sep 2009 08:48, bergholtBag det allitterative navn, Berntsens Ballade , står to tvillingebrøde -- Jonathan Berntsen, der fungerer som køkkenchef, og Alexander Bertnsen, der fungerer som sommelier. Restauranten falder i to dele -- en gourmetafdeling, som befinder sig på 1. sal -- og en mere bistrotorienteret afdeling i stuen, hvor man kan få klassikere som friske østers, boeuf bearnaise, eller tapenade ballade med godt brød og forskellige tapenader. Jonathan har tidligere arbejdet under Rasmus Grønbech og Jakob Mielcke, begge kreative, eksperimenterende kokke med hang til at spænde den gastronomiske flitsbue så langt som muligt. Det gi'r af og til nogle smagskombinationer, der er helt fantastiske -- i og for sig selv, men også i fordi de ikke er set tidligere. På den anden side kan en række mennesker, der foretrækker et mere traditionelt køkken, måske føle sig lidt overvældede af rækken af eksperimenter.
